Explanation of Classes
Beginners: Classes are suitable for students who are new to yoga or who have a little yoga experience and are wanting to get back on the mat. Students will be introduced to the foundations of yoga, a range of standing and seated poses are taught.
General: Classes are for students with some yoga experience, in this class student will start to be introduced to inversions and backbends.
Level 1: Students need to have a been attending classes regularly for minimum 12 months. Headstand and Shoulderstand are included.
Lunchtime Yoga: 30 minute class, find timeout in the day to recharge. Lunchtime classes are suitable for all levels.
Led Practice: The teacher will lead a sequence, asana names are called and demonstrated, minimum instruction is given. A minimum 12 months of experience is required, inversions will be included.
Private Classes : Private classes are available.
Physical Problems, Medical Conditions & Pregnancy
Please inform your teacher before class if you have a medical condition or any physical problems. It is not recommended that you begin a yoga practice when pregnant. Pregnant Women without an established yoga practice will not be taken on as new student. Students must check if the teacher is qualified to teach a pregnant woman.
Casual class $20.00, block of 6 classes $102.00 & block of 10 classes $170.00.
Lunchtime Yoga $9.00.
Led Practice $12.00
Kate is a Certified Iyengar yoga teacher. Paula, Mark & Maureen have completed their Iyengar Yoga teacher training.
