Kate Partridge

Kate is a Certified Level 2 Iyengar Yoga Teacher and continues to study with Senior Iyengar Teacher Glenn Ceresoli. In 2009 Kate studied with Geeta Iyengar and has attended classes at RIMYI in Pune, studying directly with the Iyengar family. Kate has been practicing Yoga since 1995 and discovered Iyengar Yoga in 2006, when she immediately experienced the benefits. The emphasis on alignment, sequencing, timing and the use of props was what drew Kate to Iyengar Yoga. “I have found the benefits to be all encompassing. Yoga is not just a physical practice, it works on all levels of our wellbeing”.

Brad Thrupp

Brad Certified Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Teacher with 18 years teaching experience and also a Remedial Massage therapist and a Certified Kinesiologist.
“I found yoga when I was 25 and instantly had an experience of profound well being and peace, this was the beginning of my journey.
Brad has worked at numerous retreat centres such as Golden Door, Gwinganna, Cabarita Ocean Health Retreat. He actively hosts yoga workshops, retreats and intensives.

I first discovered yoga in my early 20s, after attending a Hatha Yoga class in Dee Why when my first daughter was a baby. Nothing else provided me with the peace of mind that yoga did.
Over the years, as my children grew, I practiced yoga intermittently. I always knew that it was integral to maintaining physical and emotional wellbeing, but somehow I found that I could not completely dedicate myself to it.
 In 2012, I moved to the Northern Rivers, and with grown up children, I now had more time to become focussed and dedicated to yoga. I attended regular classes, workshops and committed to a daily home practice.
 In 2017 I began teacher training with Julie Hodges (Senior Iyengar Teacher) in Lismore, and in 2019, I travelled to Pune, India to practice at the Iyengar Institute.
 My dedication and interest in the practice continues to grow as the subject is never ending.
As a behaviour therapist and counsellor I find that the discipline and practice of yoga aligns perfectly with my professional practice.
I have really been enjoying the teaching process and look forward to future endeavours.
